How to Get Involved
For Organizations in
Washington State
For Individuals
Organizations in Washington State can join
the Toxic-Free Legacy Coalition by signing-on to our 4-point platform.
If you work with a public interest group, a small business, or local
government, consider supporting our coalition as a member or being
an ally.
Our Platform:
- Phase out existing sources of persistent toxic pollution;
- Clean up historical sources of persistent toxic pollution;
- Prevent new sources from releasing more persistent toxic chemicals
into the environment; and,
- Promote alternatives to persistent toxic chemicals.
All coalition members will be added to a
coalition listserv unless you tell us otherwise. You will also be invited
to engage in specific campaign activities, including an annual coalition-wide
meeting. Campaign activities may include endorsing legislation or policy statements, signing on to a comment letter to a government agency, testifying at a public meeting, meeting with an elected official, or other actions to eliminate persistent toxic chemicals. The Toxic-Free Legacy Coalition will not sign your organization
onto letters or other documents without receiving your permission.
To join the Toxic-Free Legacy Coalition,
please download and complete a support
form (pdf file).
Mail or FAX the completed form to the Coalition, see contact information
at bottom of form.
